Description: This is a
relatively easy ride - with the exception of the very first hill, and the climb
near Fairplay. As such, it earns the moderate rating. This is a fun
brief loop that can be done in less than an hour, and you'll pass by many of the
local wineries in the Fairplay Region. This makes a good ride for those
who are short on time, or not used to the longer rides (and more hill climbing). All day
parking is available at Pioneer Park where this ride starts (park is open from
8:00 am - dusk). Traffic note: Fairplay is becoming
increasingly popular for wine tasting. Traffic can be a concern -
especially on weekend afternoons.
