The aftermath of the sneaker wave… all that foam is left over of where the wave (see previous photo) went. People that day said it was by far the largest wave they had seen there.

What NOT to do! I had been monitoring the storm wave action along the coast in Washington, and thought I had it figured out as to where to get some exciting photos of the storm waves. What I didn’t plan on was a very large sneaker wave that got to me. I held onto a log and fortunately it didn’t move (much). I was very lucky… it could have ended badly.
