Being on a well, we wanted to have reserve water in case we loose power. But the storage tanks cost about one dollar per gallon, which gets pricey very fast. Instead we bought a inexpensive pool at Costco (almost 4,000 gallons) for about $500... and we get to have fun swimming in the summer too!
